Yui Makino At the tender age of 8, Yui met Shunji Iwai, impressing him enough to let her play piano accompaniment for his play "LOVE LETTER".
She later graduated in piano from the Tokyo College of Music High School and University, quickly making her voice acting debut in April of 2005 with the role of Sakura in "Tsubasa・Chronicle". Around the same time she sang the TV Tokyo-based anime "Genesis of Aquarion" theme and in August of the same year releasing the theme song "Amrita", a theatrical version of "Tsubasa： Reservoir Chronicle".
Yui has most recently released singles for the opening theme "Reset" and closing theme "Colors of Happiness" for the 2017 anime "Sakurada Reset". Her latest release came out in March, 2018, the mini-album "WILL".
